Play Therapy

Play is one of the first ways human beings begin to communicate with others and interact with the world. As we get older, we become self conscious about playing. But what is Play Therapy? Play therapy is a structured, theoretically based approach to therapy that builds on the normal communicative and learning processes of children. Sandtray Play Therapy

Sandplay Therapy, also sometimes referred to as “sandtray play therapy” or just simply “sandtray,” is a way to explore and deepen your relationship with the world, yourself and other people around you. It grew out of the Jungian movement in the 1920’s and can be applied in many different ways. You can find additional details and articles about this important therapy approach here.

Therapy Sessions and Rates

We offer individual therapy services for adults, adolescents and children as young as two years old, as well as family therapy and parent-infant work.
